Washington, July 20, 2020 – The Cyber Threat Alliance (CTA) and the CSIRT Asobancaria have signed a working agreement to cooperate on threat intelligence and coordinate during cybersecurity incidents and emergencies. As part of its mission to disrupt malicious cyber activity strategically and to raise the level of cybersecurity across the global digital ecosystem, CTA collaborates with a broad range of organizations. We welcome CSIRT Asobancaria into our partnership program.
“We are very excited to have CSIRT Asobancaria as our first contributing ally headquartered in Latin America.  In order to combat malicious cyber activity, we need partners and allies from around the world to collaborate.  I am certain the CSIRT Asobancaria will be an excellent partner in our on-going efforts to raise the level of cybersecurity across the digital eco-system,” said Michael Daniel, President and CEO of the Cyber Threat Alliance.
“For CSIRT Asobancaria, as the Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ISAC) for banks in Colombia, it is an honor to be a part of the Cybersecurity Alliance CTA, and to collaborate and work together in reducing cyber-risk in the LATAM and Colombian financial system. We are convinced that a multi-stake holder and an international cooperation approach is the best way to meet today’s cybersecurity challenges for the financial and banking services and across all industries,” said Santiago Castro Gómez, CEO and President Asobancaria.
