Kathi Whitbey is a Principal Threat Analyst at Palo Alto Networks’ Unit 42. A longtime advocate for trusted intelligence sharing and industry collaboration, Kathi played a foundational role in the formation of the Cyber Threat Alliance and helped lead the early development of the CTA Platform, establishing secure capabilities for sharing actionable threat intelligence among member organizations.
With more than two decades of experience spanning cybersecurity, government technology, technical training, and strategic program leadership, Kathi is passionate about bringing organizations together to strengthen collective cyber defense. She also served as a technical expert for Girl Scouts of the USA, helping develop 18 cybersecurity badges designed to introduce the next generation to cybersecurity concepts and careers.
