Cyber Threat Alliance Elects Juniper Networks’ Samantha Madrid to Board of Directors

WASHINGTON, DC— June 10, 2021 — The Cyber Threat Alliance (CTA) today announced the election of Samantha Madrid, Vice President of Security Business and Strategy at Juniper Networks, to the organization’s board of directors. Juniper Networks joins Charter member Board Directors Gil Shwed, Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd; Matt Watchinski, Cisco; Ken Xie, Fortinet; Lee Klarich, Palo Alto Networks, along with elected Affiliate members John Petrie, NTT Ltd; Corey Thomas, Rapid7; and Joe Levy, Sophos, to drive CTA’s strategic vision to improve the cybersecurity of the global digital ecosystem by enabling cyber threat intelligence sharing among the alliance’s membership community.

Samantha has over twenty years of experience in the enterprise business-to-business security market in roles spanning from product management to marketing to sales engineering. She previously served as the Vice President of Product Management and Marketing for E8 Security (acquired by VMware). Prior to that, she held leadership roles at Palo Alto Networks, Forcepoint, Inc. (formerly Websense), and Cisco (via IronPort). Samantha studied Political Science at San Jose State University.
